Why didn't prior depreciation carryforward to form 4562 from 2021?

is anyone else having the problem where 2021 depreciation did not carry over to 2022 on form 4562?

Are your depreciation schedules there?

Did you have Sec179 carryforward ?

yes I have the depr schedules for 2021 & 2022

no there was no section 179 carry forward from 2021

Can you give some details....

1) there is current year depreciation for assets prior to 2022 

2) if yes, the depreciation is not showing on line 17 of F4562

Is Form 4562 actually needed this year?

Regardless the problem is the program did not bring the prior year 2021 depreciation amount on the 4562 into the "prior depreciation" column on the 2022 4562 when I transferred the client to 2022

Not sure I understand what you are looking for.....2021 and only 2021 depreciation on the 2022 Form 4562 ??     Do you mean the Depreciation Schedule or fhe Form 4562 ?  

If it's the depreciation schedule, then you'll probably need to delete client file and retransfer.
