Why can't Proseries Efile the DC franchise return?
It seems franchise returns may only have become eligible for e-filing in recent years, and DC still only accepts e-file when they actually have an FEIN. I got an error message that said Proseries couldn’t file either the DC individual or franchise returns, which makes it hard to attract and retain clients in that part of the country.
Does anyone know if Intuit plans to resolve this software shortcoming?
