Question

WHY AM I UNABLE TO EFILE FROM MY 2024 VERSION?

I went with a different software but needed to refile a 2024 return.

I paid for 2024 and should be able to still file from it.

What gives?

Once you no longer have a current ProSeries license, you wont be able to print or EFile anymore returns using ProSeries.

Maybe you can ask your new software company for a copy of 2024 to use.

I paid all that money for the software and you cut it off if I do not renew?

Thats holding my business hostage.

I bought and paid for working software.  This has to be illegal.

The infamous fast path fee has been pissing off Intuit customers for years now.  The really interesting fact about the fee is that when it first appeared, tax preparers caused a big stink here over it.  And Intuit's response at the time - "their customers requested it".  After doing our own impartial, informal survey, we had the following results"

Number of Intuit users that didn't ask for the fee and didn't want the fee - 1,137,157,133

Number of Intuit users that asked for the fee - 1

After doing some follow up with the user that did want the fee, they said they would get back to us later because they were busy having dinner with Elvis on a UFO somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy.

Oh and they automatically renewed my subscription in October when it was not on auto renewal.  Took the money out of an old account costing me almost 800 in fees.  Admitted it was there error but refused to compensate for the fee's they caused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't this close to a monopoly!!!

I don't see it as a monopoly.  Intuit was just a pioneer in the field of legalized ransomware.

But, they are at least kind enough to not make us pay the ransom with Bitcoin.
