Where Does Pro Series Prorate WI Retirement Subtraction for Part-Year Resident
I have a client who moved to WI in July, 2025. In the WI instructions, there is a worksheet for Sch M, Line 50 for Part-Year residents to allocate the WI retirement subtraction.
The quickzoom for Sch M, Line 50 goes to a worksheet but not the one needed for this calculation. The diagnostics give an alert to adjust this worksheet for income that does not qualify for the retirement subtraction but is silent about the allocation of the subtraction for a part-year resident. Doesn’t the program do this calculation or am I just missing where it is?
