Where do you report form 8978 -

have a minor administrative Adjustment request, but I don't see that proseries supports that form or where it gets reported on  the form 1040

    That form is for a audited partnership, and has changes  to amounts reported to partner earlier. You would just attach the 8978 as a PDF, and report the changes where required (IE: change in capital gain, schedule D).

      Someone was complaining recently that it's not "supported" by Intuit software.  I don't know if that means it can't be a pdf attachment to an e-filed return.  Maybe you have to file on paper.

        I have done the calculations manually for the Form 8978 adjustment, but ProSeries will not accept the e-filed return, even though I entered the amount of tax change on Schedule 3 line 6l, where it belongs. Is there any workaround to get this through electronic filing? I even turned off error checking. Any suggestions?
