Question
Where do I indicate the Box 1 distribution on Form 1099-R is an in-plan Pretax to Roth 401(k) conversion? I only see Box B5 on the 1099-R worksheet for a Roth IRA.
The distribution code is 1, and I understand it's fully taxable, but it shouldn't flow to the 5329 for the additional tax.
