the checkbox turns red (annoying), but if you complete the rollover section down below, does the money flow properly?

I have the same issue.  Pro Series Error report reads: "You have indicated this is a QTIP to Roth IRA transfer. Our program has not updated to support this yet. Please check back later for updates."

Hour long telephone call with Customer support to ask when form would be updated was fruitless, in spite of repeated holds for rep to check with tech support on status of an update.

I have the same error as well, with zero results from support.  I cannot find "what" is not being supported.  so how and when does this get fixed.

To all those saying, finish the form, what do you want it to do.... no one is asking for trouble with completion.  The software is flagging in RED - and unable to e-file stating that there is a wait for ProSeries to Update.  There is no where to find an ETA including calling support.  So how do us 3 with RED, file these returns?

What are you expecting that checkbox to do???

If it is a qualified tax-free transfer, you don't even need to enter the 1099-Q because it doesn't show up anywhere.

Did no one read tax guy Bill's answer???

IRS Publication 970 & 1099-Q Instructions: "Nontaxable distributions from QTPs (529 plans) are not required to be reported on your income tax return. You only report the distribution if a portion of it is taxable".

Sadly, it seems like there are many people here that just do data-entry by entering the forms the client gives them and have no idea what actually happens on the tax forms.

Sadly, there are people here making ignorant assumptions on other tax preparers.  (In my case, client wanted the worksheet as part of his recordkeeping though there was no tax implication, and the software currently has no way to indicate this is nontaxable.)  I think that's the point others are making?
