Hi.

When you save and print a copy of the returns, filing/client/preparer types, to DMS or another other file manager, I noticed that few returns, regardless of year, looks like it some crazy fonts.

Crazy fonts as in Large, oversized letters or garbled characters. I then reprint those returns back to DMS.

Also, when printing a ‘normal’ return from pdf, it comes out printed with those Crazy fonts!

What happened to the ProSeries print to pdf function? Does it not work at times?!

It did Not used to happen in the past versions but noticing that it’s happening More from 2023-2025 returns!

Please FIX this darn issue!

Hi great to see you in the Community and thanks for posting! Here's a support article that should help with this:

This is most commonly a font/print-driver compatibility issue rather than the PDF function itself being broken. A couple of settings worth trying: from the File menu, select Print Options > General Printing, then check Print Text As Graphic (turns text into an image instead of relying on the font your driver may not render correctly), or check Always Print using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Both can slow down print jobs slightly but often resolve garbled/oversized font issues.

If you need further assistance with this we would reach out to ProSeries Support.

I havent seen anyone else mention issues like this  in any of the ProSeries groups Im in, I think you may have a printer driver issue on your system.
