The software is still in its infancy.  That feature might not be available yet.

Thanks.  They were touting it at the webinar yesterday so I assumed it was already part of the software.

Or as the nuns said, "When you assume, you make an a** out of u and me", then they hit you with a ruler.

We wont see a solid version of the software until January.

For TY 2023, ctrl b brings up the billing clock. It doesn't work anymore?

I use that all the time.  I have a column in my homebase that shows the total amount of time it's taken to prepare each return, both federal and state.

Apparently the new Time Tracker takes information from prior years, I assume if you use the billing clock, to project how much time it will take to prepare the current return.

Of course neither accounts for the time it takes to interview with a client or assemble and review a return, but it is a good metric to use to estimate how long the entire process will take.
