the underlying service is taking longer time to repond

The message "The action cannot be completed because the underlying service is taking longer to respond.

Therefore, I always have to wait 5 minutes to go into the program.

Why?

this happens to me continuously if Ive got my auto backup running and its scanning my PS files, Ive changed it to only backup at the end of the day now.

I used to encounter this frequently, but it seems to have been a few years now. Not sure what changed. Anyway, the fastest way to deal with it was to long-press the R key. This activated Retry multiple times per second and seemed to be the best way to find out when the 'underlying service' (whatever that was!) was ready to let the software continue opening.

For the first time happened to me yesterday - now takes several minutes to resolve - it's only 2023 - previous years still seem alright

I had it happen the other day at home, NOTHING running in the background, so Im not sure what the real reason is that it happens.
