The 1099 format in QuickEmployer is not right. Is there an update coming?

Someone said the W-2 format looked funky the other day too.  But as long as the basic information is provided correctly to the recipient, the format look isn't a deal breaker.  What gets submitted electronically to the IRS doesn't look like the 1099 anyway.

The instructions for the 1099 that are normally on the Recipients copy of the 1099 are not there as well. The form looks completely different than prior years. I was told by Proseries that the format should be the same as the IRS form for 2024. I checked the IRS form 1099 and it hasn't changed from 2023.

If it is supposed to look like last year but doesn't, it could be an update is coming, could be an issue with your printer not reading things correctly, or it could be an issue with Intuit that they haven't recognized yet.  But like I said, as long as the basic information is provided property in the correct box numbers, they are functional even if they look funky.
