Client created a new CoveredCa account to show me that hes not enrolled and that there are no 1095A forms that exist in his name but tax return keeps rejecting stating that he needs a 1095A🤔 🤔

At the top off the Form 1095-A click the box CHECK IF NO MARKETPLACE HEALTH INSURANCE PURCHASED.  When you e-file you must attach a statement ACA explanation (directly underneath the check box above) and attach it to your e-file.

Any chance a parent, spouse or child has a 1095-A that covered your client or someone on your client's tax return?

The client may also consider contacting the Federal Marketplace, in case of something fraudulent.

If you are 100% certain there is no 1095-A, you can attached a PDF explanation called "ACA Explanation" and that will allow the tax return to be e-filed.

I printed the ACA explanation that ProSeries generates to a pdf and then attached it to the return under ACA Explanation and then was able to efile and have it accepted.
