Superceded 1040 w. additional refund direct deposit

ProSeries Basic allows superceded return when x marked on Superceded EF on Info worksheet and on 1040x but displays error if requesting direct deposit and says must check 1040x EF on Info worksheet... Without the X on Amended EF, it tries to efile as Superceded, but switches to Amended transmit when Amended marked on Info worksheet. Workaround?

Efiling an Amended or Superseded are the same thing in ProSeries, they both use the 1040X, its just considered superseded if its filed prior to the filing deadline.

Theyre both processed the same way when EFiled, I EFiled a superseded return last year in late February, it didnt complete processing until the end of summer.

The direct deposit thing is new this year with amended returns, they never had that before, so that part might be causing confusion.
