Sub-S Schedule K-1 Worksheet -- PTE Checkbox Error.
I'm getting an error on Sub-S Schedule K-1 worksheet for the CA PTE Form 3804 checkbox. I have checked this box but I receive an error stating the checkbox must be checked for at least one shareholder -- which, of course, doesn't make sense.
Information on the return:
I completed CA Form 100S & the related forms for CA PTE prior to 03/15/25 and all the PTE taxes were paid on-time (06/15/24 & 12/31/24) outside of Proseries. All required boxes were checked -- with no errors. I filed extensions on 03/15/25. I opened up the tax return today (04/06/25) to complete the returns and encountered this error. When I uncheck the box, the error message goes away. I checked to see if there were any updates this morning and I am using the most recent version for federal and CA State S-Corp software. Any ideas why this is happening...
