SSN not valid for employment but worked under a different social - how to i get the socials correct?
I have a client with a social security card that is not valid for employment. He has worked under a different social. With an ITIN, it is simple to enter the W-2 social so all the records are correct, but his social is a valid number so the system is giving me a red must correct error when I try to enter the social he has been working on. What am I missing? Where/how do I fix this?
