I have the same issue, but with really old assets that were allowed to use the SBA in previous years.  Never had the error in previous years.

Frustrating when you finally get the state you need to be able to file, we have an error like this.

What software are you using? Neither as a regular asset nor the car/truck asset sheet have an asset type as M2, to the best of my knowledge, unless maybe you use quick entry or something. And I use ProSeries Professional and have for a couple of decades now.

and just curious, how would you have a problem with prior year, if this asset was acquired in 2025?

I think Corporations and Partnerships have that.

You see to have Box 4 unchecked.  Will checking that fix it?

You have to put a check mark in box 4

I TRIED THAT; IT DIDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING

I am having this issue with a B1 Asset from 2024 Proseries. The economic stimulus on line 34a of Schedule C car and truck worksheet is defaulting to No, when I filed 2024 as yes. In 2024 I used bonus depreciation of 60%. The prior years numbers are incorrect in 2025 Proseries, therefore causing the 2025 current year depreciation to be incorrect.

To save me from looking it up, what is a B1 Asset?

Did the business percentage drop to 50% or less in 2025?

B1 - Truck or van over 6,000 lbs. This is 100% business use both in 2024 & 2025.

Thanks.
