Slowdown when Exporting from QBs to ProSeries

Has anyone's computer slowed down after exporting the tax-line mappings from Quickbooks to Proseries? When that happens to my computer, I close then re-open my ProSeries to get my computer working at normal speeds again. Is there a way to prevent the slowdown?

I've seen this; the import creates a connectivity that isn't released. "TSR" = terminate and stay resident (active).
