Should not have to fill out and submit 8283 if donations are $500.00 or less. This is IRS code.
Currently the program is forcing the preparer to file form 8383 if donations of goods is under $500.00. This should not be the case. An entry on schedule A can be made if the donation of goods is $500.00 or less. Currently you get an error if you do not fill out form 8283, this SHOULD NOT be happening.
