Question

Schedule E - Worksheet Percentages for Personal Use

Client owns a beach home that they rent through a local realtor.  Realtor provides a 1099 - MISC along with a statement of all expenses.  As I enter the expenses on the Schedule E Worksheet, some expenses are taken 100% and some are taken based on the percentage of days rented.  In this example, the commission expense is reflected correctly, however; cleaning expense is being prorated.  The cleaning was solely for the period of rental, so I would like to take 100% of the expense.  How can I change the percentage on the Worksheet to allow that to happen.  I attempted to enter 100 in column b, that did not work.  There must be a place to update the percentage.

I think the easiest way would be to enter it as an "other" expense on line 19.
