How to protest the penalty in PS software if RMD was paid within 60 days of 12/31/24.? Thanks

Form 5329, waiver of penalty request

    the 1099R worksheet has a new section for that, Im not sure how its supposed to work if there's no 1099R issued though.

      So I just had this situation, I used the empty 1099R worksheet from the prior year and just filled out that new section for a missed RMD, it did get rejected first time around, I forgot to open the 5329 Waiver statement and type anything in it.
