Returns Received by Intuit - Not Sent to IRS or State (Stuck)

We have two clients that we transmitted yesterday, 2/19.  Both returns still show up as received by Intuit , and both have not been sent to the IRS or State of PA.

We've transmitted about a dozen or so since then, but all have been accepted the IRS or states.

Has anyone else been having an issue?  I tried checking acknowledgements, but it doesn't show as accepted.  They seem to be stuck in limbo.

Both returns have the Form 5695 residential energy credits on them, I'm wondering if there is a delay because of this?  Form 5695 appears to be Final, unless something recently happened?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same situation.  Both of mine have the Form 5695.  Must have just started because i have transmitted other returns this week with Form 5695 and they were accepted.

Hopefully Proseries resolves this issue.

Could be an issue with the 5695.  Sometimes when they realize there is an issue in the program they will hold returns a bit and then reject them to give them some time to try and fix the issue.

Have you called Proseries about this?  I am on hold now. They just say to wait but I think this is an issue with the Form 5695 not processing for some reason and they need to know others are having the same issues.

Deb H,

Did Proseries support give any additional updates or advice when you spoke with them yesterday?

I just checked, and we now have 4 returns in the same status, all have Form 5695 on them.

I reviewed all the returns we did already, and we had 2 that I transmitted last week that had the 5695 on them, , and they were accepted.  Something happened to that form the last few days.

I saw another post having the same issue.  Hopefully this gets resolved quickly.  I may reach out again tomorrow to Proseries and let them know.

No she did not have any idea that there was an issue. Said I had to wait. I kind of forced her to report the issue and tell someone in programming that it has to be an issue with the Form 5695 and it started 2/19/2026.  The more users that report it the quicker it will get resolved in my opinion.

Let's keep each other updated!! Thank you!

Same thing with one of my returns I e-filed on 2/19/26.  He had a 5695 as well.  Sigh.

I have one in limbo right now too.  It has a form 5695 included as well.  It was submitted 2/22/26. I hope this gets resolved soon.

Still no updates, still hanging at Inuit for 5 days now.

We now have 6 clients in limbo.

I'm calling again today.  This is ridiculous already.

Currently responding to their email 'How did we do'.  Maybe that will light a fire.

They had an update, but the hanging Efiles from last week are still hanging in Received by Intuit.

I am thinking about holding all clients with Form 5695 until it is corrected.  Trying to reduce the stress of tax season any way I can.

I just spoke with tech support again on this.

the woman did a screen share, and then reviewed the files I have hanging currently.

She said it is the Form 5695, and they are aware of the issue, unfortunately, there is no ETA a the current moment as to how long it's going to take to correct.

Ugh!!

I wonder if I should just have these 3 clients mail in their returns, as they are all getting refunds?
