Restrict access to view a tax return

Looking for a way to restrict access to view my tax return in Proseries by other users in my firm.  Is this possible?  Have tried the lock/unlock feature and also tried adding a password but didn't seem to have luck.  Thanks.

Yes, you can lock/password-protect a particular return. Open the return. Click on "Tools" in the menu across the top. In the drop-down menu, there's an "Add/Change Client Password" choice.

I see you tried to add a password. What do you mean by "I didn't have much luck?" Know that depending on the roles assigned, people can bypass the password.

For example, I put a password on a return, and because I'm an admin, I don't have to enter the password. However, the return is still restricted for everyone else who doesn't have admin access. 

Does that help?
