Reporting of Foreign Earned Income

Client moved to and now lives in Australia full time since Oct of 2021. He received a Notice of assessment from the Australian Taxation Office reporting his income and taxes paid. To show this income i used the Wages Worksheet Line 4 Foreign Inc which carried to line 1z on the 1040. On form 2555 Foreign Income Exclusion I entered income amount on Line 19, carried to line 8 on 1040 then to line 15 as 0 adjusted income. My question is during final review for E Filing since lines 9,11,16,18,21,24,33 are all zero's, I am getting the message "NOT ELIGIBLE FOR E-FILE". Since all his income is excluded of course these lines are zero's. Am I missing something or just make a paper copy and mail it in.

Thank you all for your time and consideration.

Just put in $1 of income somewhere. Some of us put it as bank interest, others user 1040 schedule 1 other income. Goal is to have AGI of $1

I would report some gambling income.  Australia is home to less than half a percent of the world’s population but has 20 percent of its slot machines — and 80 percent of those located outside casinos.  The country has a huge problem with gambling addiction.  Your client can either admit to winning a few payouts, or he can lie to you.
