Proseries updates too frequent on hosted platform

From previous experience using hosted environments we understood the host would do all updates in the background but I am prompted to update Proseries several times a week. Why am I constantly getting bothered with this when it should be automatic in the background?

    Are you seeing the popup while launching ProSeries.?

    This doesn't just happen when we forget to run the update on Thurs/Fri.  Every once in awhile it won't allow a Convert/transmit because you need to run another update....numerous in a week.  The other preparer is correct.
