Proseries Pro 2025 is not processing Maryland product returns??

You are posting in the ProSeries forum, but your message says ProConnect? 

What does “not processing” mean?    You cant transmit the return?  Once the return is transmitted and received, intuit it out of the loop, they have to wait for the state to accept or reject it, the state is the place that does the processing.

If youre not getting acknowledgements, try highlighting the return in the EFCenter and then choose Update Acks of Selected returns instead of the regular Receive Acks.

Maryland is in the process of switching to new payment processing systems. It is not supposed to affect efiled returns, but who knows?

Been a week for me and “Return Sent to State”. ProSeries memo is wrong. Per my call to the Comptroller’s office they have stopped all returns (for all years) until September 1, 2026. No late filing penalties will be assessed. Do not know about late payment penalties. Note - the old system worked fine, the new website is horrible and has been since they introduced it for withholding and sales tax. Maryland always takes the position - if it’s not broken, let’s break it.

So that begs the question.  Does Intuit hire former Maryland personnel or does Maryland hire former Intuit personnel? 🤔
