PROSERIES - FORM 3468 FOR INVESTMENT ENERGY CREDIT - NOT CALULATING 30%
I have a 2025 personal 1040. 1065 K-1 passed through energy basis property qualifying for 30%. I properly answered all the questions on 3468 part I as well as put basis information in part VI, line 3. However, proseries is only calculating 10% on part VI, line 3b which is incorrect based on the answers. I over road the part VI 3b to 30% however it got rejected back via irs e-file.
I messed around with 3468 and IF I change the start date to 2024, I get the 30%. However, this is NOT correct based on current tax law. I can still have a start date in 2025 as long as all other factors are met & the are. Hence, there seems to be a proseries scheme error.
Has anyone else run into this??
