Proseries does not support amending a Nebrsaka Partnership Return

Nebraska requires a Nebraska Form 1065XN to be used to amend a 2023 and later Nebraska partnership returns, Form 1065N. There is no longer a box on a Nebraska partnership 1065N to click "Amended Return." Sadly, Nebraska Form 1065XN is not available in Proseries Professional. (There's a box in Proseries to check on the Nebraska return, but it does nothing.) Reviewed this with Proseries tech support. Aargh!

That kinda sucks.  But out of curiosity, what was support's response to you?

I let Tech support join my computer. They tried checking the Amended box in their version Proseries. Of course, it went nowhere. (I have 2 partnerships to amend. About 10 partners each., The cutting and pasting into the State supplied forms is taking an hour. The biggest disappointment is that there's no where for the tech or us to get thru Proseries and have them add the Nebraska Amended Partnership return forms  into Proseries!

Yea, I just went and looked at it, that amended box on the NE return says it comes from the fed return, but I checked Amended over there and still nothing happens, so yes, it looks like they dropped the ball for amended NE partnership returns.

I am not amending the Federal. The reason for the Amended Nebraska return is for the Nebraska Property Credit .

I realize that, I was just trying to track down a way to get what you needed to generate.....when your cursor is in a box, you can Right Click and choose Cross Reference that can sometimes lead you back to an originating point of entry...if you missed a checkbox somewhere I was hoping that would lead back to it, that amended box on the NE return, when I right click and cross reference, said that its generated from the Federal amended box, so I thought maybe checking that would "do" something different on the state, but it did not..
