Performing a clean install of ProSeries
I used McFee to clean up my computer to make it run faster. Now none of my ProSeries tax years will open. I have from 2018 to 2024 and use workstations as well. I started with 2018 and followed the instructions for clean install. I uninstalled the program, renamed the installation folders to ProWin18OLD and ProNet18OLD. When I run CoreinstallerTY18.exe, I get "Problem during installation". "Acces to path C:\proseries\ProNet18\wkstn\inst\W_eng_core.inv is denied.
What am I doing wrong? I need to get this baby up and running ASAP
