PDF of tax return

I am sure we all get requests from clients asking to send them a copy of their return. Is there any way to Create PDF file without SSN numbers showing on form 8879. I mask the data but that SSN shows in full. I do not like sending emails out with SSN's showing. Any way to hide that one SSN? Or better yet, how do you handle that situation.

I email a password protected copy or upload a copy to the Inuit portal. For a password protected copy, click the "Print" icon, then "Printer, PDF and DMS setup", then under PDF "Password protect....."

Thank you for the correct procedure. For some reason I thought that the protected pdf would generate an email with the instructions on how to enter the password.

It does. and that's a pretty long password.

Can't you just unselect the 8879 as a form to be pdf'd ?
