Partners' allocation percentage for admission of a new partner
Has anyone prepared a 2024 partnership tax return where a new partner was admitted to the partnership. it appears the weighted average calculation is not working in Proseries. Currently, proseries is allocating the partners the same amount instead of the allocation based on the weighted average percentage for the year.
Any thoughts?
