Originally from PA 

Has a camper in NJ they stay in and work in the summer 

Purchased a home in NJ April

Spouse started working in NJ in July

Taxpayer started working in NJ in August

Changed their driver's license in November to NJ 

I know they are worried about PA pension being taxed in NJ. What is the correct day to use for part year resident?

Did they move into the home in April?  That would look like a change in domicile to me.  Physical presence and intent to stay.
