Overtime…. Seriously?

TP is construction worker with 2 w2s.

W2 #1   150k no overtime ….. w2 #2.    15k all OT (according to pay stub)

TP didn’t like his return because i included tax on w2#2…

Are the 2 companies part of the same organization ?    No

Are the 2 companies related in any way?   No

One company pays you 1.5 x the other and calls it OT?    Yup

is this a union requirement?    Not in a union 

Quit working for Co #1… Work full time for #2

tP.  ”you have to follow the law… no tax on overtime “

I feel the same way - my patience ran out about a week ago

I use the philosophy ofthe customer is always right. So I'd do the return like he wants it. It's what make him happy.

And then someday you two can share a cell together.......

When I have clients sign my engagement letter, I never call it an engagement letter.  I always just tell them that the letter says I’ll come and visit you in jail but I’m not going with you.
