Question

On the 8824 how do I link the property exchanged for TWO bought? Only one links.

My client exchanged one property for two properties.  The first one links but not the second  property.  I read you can put the second on a summary. That doesn't seem right and don't see a summary.

YOU have to create the summary & attach.

When I have multiple property § 1031's, I do it in an excel spreadsheet, print the spreadsheet to PDF & attach.
