NYC form 1127 Calculation with STAR credit
Is anyone getting pushback from the city of NY for clients who work for the City but are non-residents? Apparently, they are all getting letters asking for part or all of their refunds to be paid back due to the NYS Star credit calculation. Pro Series includes the STAR credit in the calculation, as it has been for years, but now the City says the credit is not available to reduce the tax liability.
