NY state individual ready for printing timeline

When will the NY state return be ready for printing?  I can efile it, but I cannot print the NY return.  It doesn't make sense.

Check ‘form availability’ under Announcements… no it doesn’t make sense… 2/12 … NY DOR is the likely culprit.

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

I understand that this workaround exists, but it is ridiculously cumbersome.  

We send most tax returns out for review and signatures using Docusign.  For me to do this using the workaround, I'd have to manually save to .pdf each NY form, attach them individually to the Docusign envelope, and then manually input data into a TR-579-IT from NY and attach that to the Docusign.  Yes, it works, but it's a completely unacceptable way to do business.
