Non resident state credit for Connecticut

ProSeries Professional is not calculating the credit for non-resident state wages for the state of MA for a Connecticut resident.   I have to manually input the state of MA wages in order to calculate the credit for non-resident.   I have never had to do this before for the state of CT in ProSeries Professional.

did you complete the non-resident return first, then the resident?  I know years and years ago you had to do it that way or the credit didnt flow, so I always have, not sure if its still required though.

We should not have to do that.  The software should correct the entry for the credit for taxes paid to another state.

Thanks for being here on the Community! If this is still an issue we would recommend contacting ProSeries Support for further assistance.
