Question

No tax on overtime

As of today the program is not calculating the no tax on overtime even though I have entered it in box 14 on the W-2 and have answered all of the questions as I have done with every other return thus far.

The taxpayer qualifies for this deduction, but it is not being calculated.

Is this something that has happened in the last update?

Is anyone else experiencing this and how did you get it to calculate?

I dont think Box 14 works for it, you have to plug it in way down near the bottom of the W2 worksheet in the OT section.

I can't get it to show up on the 1040 at all.  I tried Adjustments to Income - Qualified overtime compensation included in Form W-2 [Override] and tried 14a.  Neither flowed to 1040
