Question

New York IT-204-LL

I've read the Intuit help for the E-filing a NY IT-204-LL from a Form 1040.  However, I still have questions.

1. Client received a notice that this was due Feb. 28th, but both the instructions found on the NY website and the information from Intuit indicate that March 15th would be the due date.  Client is a sole prop LLC in NY and plans to use a schedule C. This is the first year to file for this business.

2. Client is unsure that she will have all other forms they need to file their 1040 by the time the NY IT-204-LL is due.  Can I submit just the NY form while we wait?

Don't know about ProSeries, but the NY IT-204-LL can be filed by itself.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

More Questions

I have clients who are Single Member LLC that file schedule C in NY. Do they have to file IT-204-LL forms?
