New one for me.. $ 7,500 Truck Driver Tax Credit
OK.. i looked around but cannot find where on the 1040 to put this or even if this proposal passed. it is called Strengthening Supply Chains Through Truck Driver Incentives Act of 2022”
Everything I read shows it as a proposal.. the issue is truck driver called me.. W-2 semi driver. long distance.. told me he is entitled to a $ 7,500 tax credit.. well this is news to me I thought.. I did not tell him that but I looked it up while talking to him and all I could find is proposals.. nothing showing how to claim the credit or it it even passed.. i will continue to look some more on this but wondered if anyone heard of it and where in ProSeries can this be claimed. thank you.
