Missouri PTE
Ohio partnership with 5 nonresident Missouri partners. I'm preparing the MO-PTE. ProSeries erroneously prepares a MO-1NR and a MO-2NR for each of the partners...and the tax is different than the amount on the PTE. I called Missouri...talked to a tax manager who said some software companies erroneously prepare these forms and include with the return when they shouldn't. Said that causes them (Missouri) a lot of problems. Just a heads up for other users that ProSeries does not have a good history on preparing state returns.
