Mileage Vs Expenses

Claimed mileage on a previous vehicle used for business, but bought a new vehicle and want to use expenses on it. Can I do this since it is a new vehicle and I haven't claimed mileage on it. Or do I have to claim mileage on it as well since I did my last one?

Also if I can do expenses on the new one how do I show that I got a new vehicle and Im not trying to claim expenses and mileage on the same vehicle.

New vehcile, new choice.  Be sure its going to be worth it in the long run though.  Once they run out of depreciation on that new vehicle, therye still stuck with actual expenses.  Mileage may still be a better option overall.

Have you looked at the vehicle worksheet?
