Message when preparing Delaware Resident with other state credit
When preparing a DE resident return for a taxpayer that has income sourced to Michigan, I'm getting a message from proseries that Delaware does not allow attaching the MI return to support the credit and the DE return must be filed manually. Yet I don't see anything in the DE resident instruction to that effect.
Any insights from practitioners who do DE resident returns??
