Marketplace insurance allocation situation

Efiling reject  f8962-070.  Facts: Parents had a single marketplace insurance policy for 9 months in 2025, 2 non-dependent daughters had insurance under the same policy for 8 months.  Parents received the only Form 1095-A.  Parents are allocating all policy amounts to themselves and none to the daughters.  All 3 returns were extended.  A daughter's return was efiled first and has been rejected. The parents and other daughters returns are not ready for efiling.  A review of the Form 8962 instructions indicate completing Part IV of Form 8962.  To try to comply, I completed the allocation information on the ProSeries Form 1095-A inputs on the daughter's return (but not the other information on that form) and ProSeries did not generate a Form 8962.

I see two options in hopes of generating a Form 8962 for eifling: 1) Complete the 1095-A on the daughter's returns with the parent's information and complete the allocation portion, or 2) check the box at the top of the Form 1095-A and complete the explanation without further information.  That may not generate the Form 8962.

Does anyone have any guidance or experience on this?

the daughters returns need to have the 1095A included on them as well, with 0% allocation...be sure youve checked the box on the Fed Info worksheet that they cant be claimed as a dependent, when you allocate 0% that box doesnt turn pink and force you to check one, and without checking the box the 8962 will not be included.

Unless things have changed, things don't work correctly with a 0% allocation.

Enter the 0% allocation into ProSeries (specifically, so line 30 of the 8962 shows the 0% allocation).  As far as I can tell, the checkbox on the top does NOTHING, so don't waste your time on that.

Print-to-PDF the 8962 showing the 0% allocation (specifically, so line 30 of the 8962 shows the 0% allocation).  And attach that PDF categorized as "ACA Explanation".

As long as you remember to check the not a dependent box, the 8962 gets included this year on 0% allocation returns.

Thank you.  I had read that earlier this year, but I've also seen several posts indicating things are still being rejected, so I wasn't sure if things changed back again.
