MA Efile Amended Form 1

Has anyone successfully efiled a MA Form 1 amended return using Proseries? Just spent 75 minutes with proseries support to find out that MA shows up as an option in efiling amended Form 1 return, but will not be usable until 2023 filing season. This seems ridiculous that I have it as an option but will not work.

I can't get it to efile. for 2023 It tells me to uncheck the original efile I do that and it still shows an error

Yes.

Have you unselected 'File state ...electronically' in Part VI of the Fed efile worksheet, and selected 'File state amended returns...' in Part VII?

And click 'amended return' on MA Form 1 (not found on state info worksheet).

Oh, I see OP referring to 2022 software. I think I was efiling amended MA returns last year too, but for @djliney it works as described.

I'm getting the same error messages in preparing the 2023 MA amended return.

Looks like efile is not happening with MA?

I was having the same problem and solved it by unchecking the e-file for the MA extension as well. When I did this, the amended return then showed up as available for e-filing.
