Louisiana Fiduciary Form IT-541 footing error
Caution to preparers about an addition/footing error on Proseries Professional 2022 Louisiana Fiduciary Return Form IT-541. I reported this issue last year but it's still not fixed. If page 2, line 4 is a negative with the "X" marked designating it as negative, the software acts as if it's a positive number, so line 6 is not footing correctly and creating an income tax due. Last time I checked, a negative number (line 4) minus another number (line 5) is negative, not positive (line 6).
Hopefully this posting will make it's way to the programmers to fix. In the meantime, I will have to override the software again.
