Loging into Pro Series

I'm getting a message when I log into Pro Series that says "This action can't be completed because the underlying service is taking longer to respond. Please retry after some time. If problem persists, reach out to our customer support." I tried to log in again but it is the same. Is anyboby getting this message?

Yesterday was terrible, it happens many times, even after a fresh reboot.   

I dont have the magic fix for this, except make sure you have as few programs running as you need to, I know if I have my cloud backup running, it happens constantly, or if I have multiple years of PS open all at once its more likely to happen.

Im on a brand new system with a huge amount of HD space and double the recommended RAM, so its not my system that has the problem, its the programming.

I wonder if turning off background updates would help....I might try that today and see if it happens less.  If the program is constantly looking for updates in the background, that could be the cause.
