Kansas taxpayer authorization to discuss return with preparer not transmitting to Kansas
When we contact the Kansas Department of Revenue to resolve an issue, we are consistently told the return on their end does not show the box checked that the taxpayer authorizes them to discuss the return with the preparer. We look at our end and confirm the box is checked both on the Kansas information worksheet and on the actual return form. For some reason it is not transmitting as checked to the state. Is this a known issue, or is there a fix for it happening? We'd rather not go through the process of submitting DO-10's for every client when they're generally simple issues to resolve. Thanks!
