Question

Isnt there a checkbox somewhere for all returns to only use the 1040, not the 1040SR?

I dont remember ever having to check that 1040 vs 1040SR box on an individual return in prior years, I could have sworn it was an option somewhere.

Am I crazy?.

I found it, DUH! right where it was supposed to be, I knew I had to be looking right at it!

It in the Miscellaneous window in Options.

I looked but I couldn't find it.  Do you have to have a return open?

To get the Miscellaneous window yes, you have to be inside a return.

Lisa... it is way, way too early to feel this 'lost'.   I have a large bottle of tequila a grateful client gave me; it may be time to start sampling.

And since it was a tip, I'm going exclude it from income 😉
