Is there IRS publication which lists all error reject codes (ERC) for 1040s?
I rarely have any rejected returns, last year none. I think one the year before for spouse who did not change surname after marriage with SSA. But I see many have posts about ERC and wonder what it specifically pertains to. I have old IRS book/publication from years ago (when I was green nerd) that lists ALL ERC explanations for Individual Income Tax Returns that existed at that time (it is about forty pages for this and explanations quite detailed).
