Question

Is there a way to efile the federal 1st quarter ES payment for a client that is on extension? I'm not finding a way to do so without actually efiling the federal return.

I know that I can efile the NJ ES payment for an extended return, but not sure if I can do the same for the Federal side.

    No, either increase the amount you're paying with the extension and apply the overpayment to the 1st qtr ES, OR use IRS DirectPay.
